Objective/Mission

• To be the voice of the EPS industry in Europe
• To represent the interests of EPS producers at European level
• To promote EPS as a sustainable, efficient, economically sound and reliable insulation and packaging material
• To promote EPS recycling with economic and environmental feasibility
• To be a partner on a European level for economic, political and technical issues
• To be a forum for high level information exchange between EPS associations in Europe and their members
• To cooperate with construction and packaging organisations in Europe for the good of the EPS industry

Activities

The objective of EUMEPS, both as a whole and on Section level, is, at European and international level:

• To collect information which may be of interest for the EPS construction and packaging industries;
• To circulate knowledge and information to its members and to the national EPS construction and packaging industries or to put them at their disposal;
• To organise and coordinate a permanent and high-level communication between its members, in order to encourage study and research - and especially the national and international cooperation in this respect - for finding opportunities and solutions regarding manufacturing, technical, marketing and especially environmental issues, with which the European and international EPS construction and packaging industry is dealing.

The association also aims at:

• Developing and coordinating a permanent and reciprocal information exchange with the public authorities and organisations (e.g. legislation) and the industry;
• Coordinating the disclosure of information to the public in general with a view to increasing the public awareness about EPS construction and packaging products.
